Club 45: A Night of Magic and Elegance at BOA Steakhouse
As a West Hollywood event photographer, I've seen some pretty swanky parties, but the recent 45th birthday bash at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood – dubbed "Club 45" – was a whole new level of fabulous.

Stepping into the party, guests were greeted by an aerialist pouring champagne from above. Yes, you read that right – champagne from the sky! Feather dancers, break dancers, and a mirrored man (courtesy of The Dancing Fire) added to the spectacle. It was like walking into a glamorous circus but with better lighting and more glitter.
DJ Lady Sha had everyone grooving with her fantastic beats, while illusionist Michael Campion left us all scratching our heads with his mind-bending tricks. Magic and music – a combo that kept the energy high all night long.
Casino Kings brought the glitz of Las Vegas to this Los Angeles birthday party with their casino tables and professional dealers. Guests tried their luck, adding a thrilling twist to the elegant evening. Who knew rolling dice could be so chic?
Luxury gifts were raffled off by the hosts!
The seamless flow of the event was down to the expert coordination by Lia Lara Events. I would hire her for every damn party, if I was the one hiring. And the glorious Sandra Betancourt of Create, Event Design transformed BOA Steakhouse’s event space into a golden wonderland. The delicate white florals by Domonique Rose added a touch of sophistication, perfectly complementing the warm, gentle glow from La Jolie Candles.
Parties Outta Sight’s 360 booth was a major hit, capturing every dance move, laugh, and candid moment in a swirl of style.
BOA Steakhouse delivered mouth-watering food and drinks, and Shirin Bakery’s cake and desserts were so good that I may have had to “sample” them multiple times – purely for quality control, of course.
In the world of a West Hollywood event photographer, nights like Club 45 are what we live for. It was a classy, sultry affair dripping in gold, filled with amazing acts and delicious food. If you’re looking to throw a memorable Los Angeles birthday party, take notes – this one set the bar sky-high.
